I do not recommend it for flowers that are actively flowering due to it's high nitrogen content. High N can delay or halt flowering due to it sends vegetative signals to the plant. an example would be where you read that high N results in low fruit production for tomatoes because it will grow huge leafy growth opposed to flowers.

but (the 1-triacontanol (TRIA) in) alfalfa is said to have special powers upon earlier growth period(s). like a bit of a synergy with other nutrients as well as it's own power/nutrients. Constant use can eliminate it's ability to give synergy to other nutrients though; constant use can result in the plant(s) (enzymes) becoming accustomed to it and then relying on it. after that point you can only expect benefit to be derived from the alfalfa simply through the regular nutrient content of that alfalfa.

"Triacontanol improved the rate and extent of plants growth. It also stimulates photosynthesis and several enzyme activities. Triacontanol also increase dry weight, carbon dioxide fixation, reducing sugars and free amino acids leading to the enhancement of plant growth and crop yield..."

proper usage dose seems to be missing from my notes right now, sorry. i think it was a tea every week? or else it was tea every 3 days or three weeks, heh heh, sorry.
